15th annual of International Festival of Mountain Films Poprad will be held in Poprad, Slovakia in between October 10 - 14, 2007.
The objective of the festival is to present international production of mountain films and to encourage development in this branch.
The festival is open to all film-makers: professional, free-lance or amateur. Entered films will be divided into categories: mountaineering climbing and free climbing skiing and ski-alpinism life in mountains hiking, mountain tourism others - paragliding, mount biking, rafting, speleo-alpinism, etc.
Films in competition will be judged by International Jury and awarded by following prizes:
- Grand Prix of the Festival
- The prizes awarded according to a decision of the jury
- The public Choice Prize
- Special Prizes donated by public institutions, sports and other organizations and individuals.
