Deserved Appa Sherpa has summited Everest and broken the Everest (his own) record for the most successful climbs of Mt Everest by scaling the peak for the 17th time .

" At 8.45 am local time Appa accompanied by seven Sherpas and a western climber reached the altitude of 8850m, " - Ang Tshering, the president of Nepal Mountaineering Association (NPA) said.
Appa Sherpa first climbed Mt Everest in 1989.
