Ukraine National Himal Expedition 2007 summited Himal Chuli (7893 m) - one of the highest tops of the world via a new route.
19.05 at 9.30 am Nepalese time the Ukraine National team in structure of Sergey Pugachev, the captain, Andrey Kiyko, Maksim Perevalov, Sergey Bublik, Vladimir Rozhko, Jury Kilichenko, after climbing for the first time the hardest NE face got the top of the mountain.
On radio communication the guys sent compliments to their relatives and loved, gratitude to everyone helped in organization of this great expedition, Valentine Simonenko, the president of Ukrainian Federation of Mountaineering and Sports, trainers and sponsors. At 10.10 am the team started to descend via ascent route. Altitude difference of opened route - 4200 meters, the crux site is 1000-meter part of the CE face, average steepness - 60 degrees, general length of the route 21 kilometers, grade - the hardest.

On May 19 using the fixed ropes the team safely reached C5. As the guys found the tent they had left in an ice crevasse covered with snow and frozen into the ice the guys had to make one more effort and at 20.00 descended to С4 (6800m) settled in a safe place on the Big Barrier.
On May 20 the team started to descend to С3, located at 6200m on the upper plateau of Himal Chuli. The main difficulty is in overcoming numerous ice crevasses.
This day weather allowed to continue working at Simnang Himal South Face at above 5800m and hauling cargoes for installation of С2.
