On June, 27-28 the 5-th Mountaineering skills course will take place at la Grave- la Meije.
The Pays de la Meije is a legendary mountaineering area of international renown, as well as being an exellent place for learning. Whatever your level in mountaineering, ten workshops run by High Mountain Guides and FFME beginners' guides will take place directly on the glacier. Participants will be able to try their hands at the essential bassic techniques and will then be able to go out onto mountains by themselves. You can also improve your map-reading skills at the trekking workshops, along with orienteering and knowledge of glaciology. The weekend will close with awarding with FFME "passport", featuring the level reached by each participant.
