Katmandu, May, 29. From 17 teams possessing a permit to climb Everest issued by the Nepalese authorities 194 mountaineers from 25 countries have summited Everest this season as of 28.05.06. From them: 104 - the Nepalese, 19 - the Americans and 16 - the British.

The representatives of India, South Korea, Poland, New Zealand, Switzerland, Philippines, Australia, Southern Africa, France, China, Bolivia, Austria, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy and Belgium have also ascended the Roof of the World.
