Lenina peak-2006 successful climb.

"Vertical" sports group from Ryazan in structure of Kondrakov Oleg and Kondrakova Nadezhda returned home after their successful climb Lenina peak on July 24. This time there was a lot of climbers in BC but as it usually is only a few of them managed to summit. Weather was changeable: good or very windy and snowy.

This year the wind tore off tents and yurts in BC and C1. Weather window opened in 15.07 and Sergey, a guide of "Mountains of Asia", was the first in this season summited Lenina peak (5 hours, start from Razdelnaya). It was not enough snow on the route, but one Czech managed to make a ski descent right from the summit. We set off from Razdelnaya on July 24 at 6.00 am and at 14.00 reached the summit. The windy but cloudless weather, entire Pamir plainly visible, beautiful rocks at 6700 like plunged into sour cream, deep-sea of Alayskaya valley and the Mountain.....
