News from 16.02.2007. Up and down
This is what we did yesterday me and Shaheen hoping to get 3 days of good weather. But the things went in different direction. Yesterday it had been very hard to climb directly till Camp 2 (6 hours) due the fresh snow of the 2 weeks before. We find deep snow between 10/15 cm till the knee . We arrived at C2 at 6400 m at 5:00 p.m. and we were cold and we immediately jumped inside our tend. We only drink yesterday and not eaten. Why? The rooks eaten our food during the long wait we get in base camp!!! This morning, when we get up we were in the clouds and all around the fog close any visibility.. We talked with Base camp to get confirmation of the weather and Amin answer us confirming the bad weather and also light snowfall. So we decided to come down but we left our gear and everything there. We want to do another extreme summit push before to accept we have to close the expedition….
