Albert Leichtfried, Markus Bendler, Ines Papert and Audrey Gariepy have set off to Iceland and started the expedition to the memory of their friend Harald Berger who tragically died under ice collapse on his training climb in December 2006 .
The photographers Hermann Erber and Rainer Eder will accompany the Austrian team that aims for the repeats of existing lines and to open a series of new routes, especially in the north and east of the island.
