Italy's to cross the Alpine borders during search-and-rescue operations avoiding the bureaucratic red-tape. The permit for priority of innocent passage of borders extends also to helicopter flights of gendarmerie, civil rescuers and even private companies licensed with French or Italian authorities' sanction for this kind of activity. The agreement operates only for the run-time of search-and-rescue operations.
